Once upon a time, in a magical place…
Senem Dal was born in a cold, really cold February night. When Senem graduated from Izmir Dokuz Eylül University Business School consequently, it was very hard for her to leave the city where she found herself. So she continued to live in Izmir for a while until she returned to Istanbul to be with her family and to continue her career. Whenever she felt tired of the formal work , numbers ,serious people and the jam of the city, she found out that dealing with gems and beads takes her away to distant serene places. Each visit to a jewelry shop around, was like a therapy for her. The pleasure of wearing jewellry thanks to her longtime desire of folklore dances and colorful costumes , her obsession with the harmony of colors and the lack of finding the jewellery she had in mind.. all led Senem to a new hobby.By passage of time, designing jewellry became more than just a hobby, with the encouragement and support of her friends ,so the first pages of the ‘Fairy Tale of Jewellry’ came to be written. For Senem, each piece of jewellry became a hero of the fairy tale. Heros reflecting her conspicuous, passionate, creative and calm personality – a typical ‘Aquarius’!
One day, Senem shared her "Fairy Tale" with Burcu and the excited ‘Leon’ simply loved it. Thus, the paths of a ‘Summer Child’ and a ‘Winter Child’, of a ‘Lady from Istanbul’ and a ‘Lady from Izmir’ crossed in the ‘Fairy Tale of Jewellry’.
